Evening trail race on a whim with Henry, who’s been faster than me for a while but this was the first time he beat me head-to-head — so proud of him for finishing 5th overall and for everything.

Departed Tuscaloosa with Henry on May 31, driving, camping, and running through Mississippi, Arkansas, Oklahoma, and Colorado (meeting up with Melissa and Oliver in Colorado).   

Poor training and performance but an absolutely stunning point-to-point course through the Talladega National Forest.
