Henry ran the 10K (finishing 1st in the 14 and under division and 15th overall), and Oliver grudgingly agreed to run the 5K option (running well, though a bit off course); I managed to run the 10-miler in 1:09:35.

After departing the family cabin near the Buffalo National River, drove the Transamerica Trail from Hwy. 65 in Arkansas to somewhere near Holly Grove, AR (stopping every hour or so to run a mile for seven miles total), followed by a late stop to camp at Trace State Park (Mississippi) before returning to Tuscaloosa.

22-mile trail run (3,363′ elevation gain; 4 hours) with Wesley on the Lake Ouachita Vista Trail (LOViT) in preparation for his running of the LOViT 100-miler.
